With Election Day approaching (15 days!), NZCS (New Zealand Computer Society) asked the major political parties to summarise their “policies and visions for the future of ICT”.
ICT has become a critical player in the day to day lives of most Kiwis and businesses – and as a result, has become more and more prominent in politics over the years. 2011 has had some great examples on the interaction between politics and ICT – namely in the new file sharing law and in Wellington City Council’s free WIFI in the CBD.
