Making your Website accessibile for people with disabilities is vital in the non-profit sector. How accessible is yours? How can you be sure your website content is accessible to partially sighted people? Is your website effectively communicating to your entire target audience?

Britta Offergeld works as an Adaptive Technology Consultant for the Royal New Zealand Foundation of The Blind. She is passionate about how software and hardware can be accessed using multiple senses. Her experience includes researching accessible technology, OCR software and other adaptive technology.

Britta will be talking to us about how to ensure your website is accessible to people with disabilities. She will be discussing the most up-to-date tools and resources available to non-profits that enhancing the accessibility of your website.
